When I first started this project, it was supposed to solve issues, not create more. I didnt mean to destroy the balance our world shared with the upper realm; I cant testify on my genuine interests for this project. I cant tell the rest of them, and the others of the danger I am now putting them throughall the animosity, violence, and pain because of my past actions. Now, all of them will share the same fate, one that they will have to battle fornot for themselves, but for humanity. Yet, I cant share or tell them this, no matter how much I desire because Im dead and gone.
Two figures appeared amused as they exchanged amiable glances across the table. One, was a stunning lady with a tanned dainty body and bold features. The one adjacent to her was the opposite of him; he was simply reminiscent like those statues with his soft aristocratic features, something that caught the admiration of every single girl in the room. His eyes flickered to the approaching figure, a waitress.
She realized he was glancing at her, and began to blush. Her fingers automatically tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear; her body began to respond more differently. Rather than walking in strides, she walked in steps as she became more self-conscious as she approached the two customers.
Hello she greeted, attempting not to stare into his brown eyes. His friend shot daggers towards her from the corner of her eyes. She gulped, and hesitated to ask what they would like to order, but mustered the courage to. WWhat would you like to order?.
I would like to order some sha he stumbled, but was interrupted by his friend. She closed her menu, and snatched his, before handing it to the uncomfortable waitress.
Here, take this she demanded, handing the waitress both their menus, My friend and I would like to order some steak. The waitress reluctantly took the menu as she expected the female customer to shout at her.
Thank you, and your orders will be coming soon she mumbled, grasping both the menus, and clasping her booklet. She quickly walked away from both customers feeling a mixture of feelings: fear, anger, and happiness.
The female companion pulled out a mirror, glancing at her reflection. She saw a tanned 15 year old with hazel eyes and long eyelashes. Her long, curly dark-brown hair with highlights hid partially of her face, leaving a mysterious aura to her. After tiding her hair a little, and admiring herself, she placed the mirror back in her purse.
So, now that I got that matter solved, what would you like to talk about, Chasen? she inquired more pleasantly than before. She averted her hazel eyes towards his dark brown ones, but realized she couldnt maintain a intense stare like she thought she could, and looked at her hands.
Chasen shifted his eyes to her hands, and then the folder he had underneath his arm. He moved his arm, and revealed the manilla folder. His pale arms hastily slid the folder, Here, take this. Quickly!.
She began to stare at him dumbstruck at his order. Chasens fingers curled, before he released it, not out of anger, but self-realization. Im sorry Cornia, just read it please.
Fine Cornia replied complacently, she forgave him the instant he said it. She just enjoyed the attention he gave her; her slender arms grasped the manilla folder and opened it. Inside was a short article that was clearly simplified by Davin.
She frowned instantly, Did that GED student honestly believe she was that dumb? Cornia released an anguished sigh, and Chasen became worried. She gave him a reassuring smile, before glancing at the Elementary School article. Hopefully, Chasen didnt look at it or shared the same opinion Davin had of her.
He probably will, Cornia a obnoxious voice replied in her head, Hurry up and read the article I found. I simplified it just for you. She snatched the article out of the manila folder, and began to peruse the article that was honestly formatted in notes with only 1-3 words per each sentence.
That dummy, she thought, visualizing her idiotic roommate, Davin typing out one word descriptions for each of the former paragraphs. Cornia felt like stuffing the article in her purse, and taking it back to the condo, to only throw it at Davin in his face. However, that was until it began to hit her.
As she read each bullet, Cornia saw a series of images accompanying each. Karissa, the first bullet said, and she saw a girl 5'1, about 16 creating antidotes in a lab amongst others, that were older than her.
Internship; that girl, Karissa was making antidotes not for scientific purposes, but to cure the zombie outbreak that others besides her began to succumb to. She was the only one that wasnt a zombie and escaped, well almost.
News; she was detained and supposedly executed to prevent the news of the outbreak, but that didnt stop it. Her family and others began to question about her disappearance, and that led to the execution of some of her friends.
Friends; the zombie issue diminished, but the government couldnt release Karissa nor could they allow her close friends learn the truth so they were detained, and supposed to be executed. However, that didnt happen and then, her friends and her went on a mission to take down the S.D.P. It was a success except, Karissa died, leaving no antidotes for others to use.
All the abrupt images began to stop, finally. Cornias hands pushed the front of her bangs in distress, that was one thing she detested about having that ability. Major headaches, but she was strong enough to suppress that pain.
So, what were those antidotes, and who were they given Cornia asked, but again she was interrupted by that irritating waitress. Her head began to ache more with the sight of that waitress approaching them with two plates of fresh steak, but something about her was different, her blouse. She unbuttoned it so it would reveal some cleavage, but of course, Chasen wouldnt look at a slut like her.
Here is your order she replied, bending down, towards Chasen. He gazed at her, and Cornia felt her lips quiver.
Thank you he said humbly with a smile. Instantly, she became flustered, and awestruck that he looked at her . She was so engrossed with that fact that she didnt notice how hastily she placed Cornias plate down. Cornia almost flinched as she thought she saw a small red stain on her new regal purple short-sleeved dress, but there wasnt.
Your welcome the female waitress retorted, before whisking herself towards the back of the restaurant. Cornia could tell Chasens attention was following the waitresses footsteps.
That girl, Cornia growled, If Chasen wasnt here, her head would probably be found at Goodwill where her fashion sense meets her morals. She stabbed her steak, and took a small portion of it. Chasne averted his eyes towards her for once.
Thank you for reading that he mumbled, but Cornia heard every single word he said. Chasen grabbed his napkin, and wiped his face, I really appreciate it.
Cornias lips began to curl, Youre welcome. All animosity left her system as she was put into a daze of Chasen and her.
Youre so pathetic you know, Cornia Davin remarked, again in her head. It destroyed her mood instantly. Its like trying to get a hug from everyone in this room.
Shut up Davin Cornia rebuked, and slammed her fork into the steak. Suddenly, everyone was staring at her, even Chasen, except he was speechless.
You broke the plate Chasen informed her causally and bluntly. Her lips parted into a gasp as she stared below, some of the steak sauce splattered on her new dress.
Dont shriek, Cornia, Chasen is going to think you are an idiot, and you will be stuck talking with Davin, she thought. Except, her dress was all she could think about since it was brand new.
Its just a dress, you can always buy another one at Ross Davin reassured her, It will be easy to find one, just hang out with me. If only Davin could fathom what a dress and a girls hairstyle meant to them, then he would know. Cornia thought, attempting to tame her fury.
Ill help you find a new dress, and take care of this Chasen whispered, and left. Everyone stopped staring at her as she realized her stain disappeared. Thank god I can shift, she thought.
She laid her back upon the seat, and sat, watching Chasen taking care of the bill and the damage. He glanced at her, and gestured for her to come. She took her purse, and left the broken and clean plate behind.

That was delicious a high-pitched voice replied, before a thud was heard. She licked the tips of her fingers as she walked over the body of an elderly man whose cane was 3 feet from his body.
But, he was quite bitter, wasnt he Pearl? he asked the female version of himself. She averted her blue glacier eyes towards him.
Yes, but at least we didnt have to kill 5 people today for food and money Pearl remarked, walking away from the corpse, Can you destroy him before people come? Cole?.
Fine Cole replied, he stood before the corpse, about 4 feet away, Thanks for everything old man, I hope youll find peace. He closed his eyes for a while, and instantly, he smelt the smell of burning flesh lingering in the air.
Pearl began to walk away as she heard her brothers foot steps, and the flames consume the flesh. She paused for awhile as she saw a bystandera human across the street.
He had semi-short dark-brown hair, and dark-brown eyes; his features were sharp and defined. Pearl couldnt understand how he could walk so obliviously to the scorching flames or the stench of burning flesh even if it was right across the street.
Cole glanced at Pearl, Should we kill him?. Pearl continued to monitor and analyze the 18-year old boy walking in strides, but suddenly, her vision was blocked by a clothed figure.
Leave the human boy alone, Cole and Pearl she ordered sternly. Even though her eyes were hidden behind her shade, Pearl knew she had to obey Corina, and if she didnt, she wouldnt have a family anymore.
We will Pearl and Cole replied obediently. They cast their eyes to the pavement, Please take us home, Corina.
Corina analyzed the twins, and their intentions. The dim-lit street light revealed her porcelain skin, and her eloquent facial expression, but she couldnt see that. All she could see was heat waves and outlines of figures; nothing else.
Fine she said, the twins gathered around her, Well go, but well be coming back, not only for him, but for the rest of them. Within seconds, the group disappeared, leaving the area with only ashes that swayed and lingered in the air.
