10,000,000 years has passed since the prophecy has foretold the end of this realm, the one that divides the human world from the supernatural world. A myth, story, or legend as you may call has been said that a group of human beings will gain the abilities of the gods and goddesses. Some of which will be sincere; others cynical and malicious. The battle between the two will clash as the greater evil within the groups to expand and consume the upper realm, leaving only the fireflies from within to aid us and restore the balance and prosperity of the upper realm.
An airbrushed figure appeared to be complete on Elioras canvas until a unwanted shadow was cast upon it. A nerve appeared unexceptedly; this week was quite harsh and bittersweet for her. The lack of sleep combined with the freezing temperature drew out the beasts in everyone.
What? Eliora snapped before sneezing, her bloodshot eyes burned with annoyance as she averted her eyes to the figure which was gone. Hello?.
She stood up dumbfound, and began to glance for a sound, but there wasnt any. Eliora sighed in agony, and resumed her project for school.
What she didnt know was she had a parallel life prognosticated by her early and former ancestors which others would share as well. Eliora herself was unbeknownst to this, and would remain until she finds the fireflies in the meadow. That was if she could get there before her catastrophic wings engulf her along with the rest.

Two months have passed since everyone saw each other and Jin had to admit it was quite tiresome. The same routine: wake up, work for 5 hours, study, eat, and rest. He didnt have an leisure time anymore except this one night, which he detested.
Our company can not allow you to remain anymore due to this economy his boss replied melancholy as he looked beyond the glass in his office. The walls revealed the surrounding buildings in the complex.
Im sorry Jin, and hope you will find prosperity in your next job he apologized, and offered Jin a handshake. He accepted it ,and shook it one last time.
Now, he was unemployed and stuck living with his obnoxious younger siblings. Isnt life great? He thought sarcastically as he drunk more in the bar and sighed once again.
Is this seat taken? a female voice asked beguiling, Jin became flustered. He was about to turn around to see the stunning lady until he noticed her black hair that had blue tips.
Oh great he replied disdainfully, diverting his attention to his beer cup. The ladys face twitched with annoyance as she placed her hand on her hip.
Cant you even be a little pleased to see me? she asked mockingly, suppressing her irritation and other emotion. She refused to show that she cared or missed Jin at some extent; she wished that he could argue with her especially now. Her life seemed nothing at the moment especially since he left her.
Nope he retorted with a frown, but Syrann didnt listen. She took her own seat beside him, and soon a unwanted order.
Can I please order a cup of vodka and Budweiser and add it to this gentlemans bill? she ordered complacently before smiling and gently grasping Jins arm. The bartender smiled uneasily as she began to notice the growing tension from Jin.
Can you please make the bills separate? he requested as humbly as possible before jerking his arm from Syranns grip. Syrann pouted and crossed her arms; she wasnt going to compile to this.
Oh oka- the bartender replied, but was cut off. Again, she attempted to smile even though she could sense a upcoming bar fight.
I believe my friend is just simply intoxicated to recognize how close we are Syrann replied bitterly, tugging Jins arm. Jin snarled at Syrann and revealed his fangs.
That drunken fool, she thought, and instantly covered Jins mouth. The bartender was already fretting about Jins fangs, and serving her.
Please discard my request, and Ill pay for my friends bill she smiled, before gripping Jins arm. The bartender gave her an faltering smile that began to quiver. Poor thing, shes pondering on if she should quite this job, Syrann thought.
Here is your receipt she replied awkwardly, handing Syrann a receipt revealing the price. Syrann instantly revealed a $50 dollar bill and handed it to the bartender.
You can keep the change, please think of it as a tip Syrann retorted as she jerked Jin from his seat.
Jin instantly glared at her, Stupid blood sucker. He ripped his arm from her hands. Soon, everyone began to stare as the bartender hastily grabbed the telephone.
Well be leaving Syrann announced, and Jin followed Syrann unwillingly as she dragged him. The audience began to direct their attention to the eccentric friends, Jin instantly glared at them. Hastily, they resumed back to their activities, but some were still awaiting them to bicker which wasnt about to occur in the bar.
Syrann and Jin exited the bar before averting their eyes to each other. I hate you they replied in unison.
I hate your guts Jin rebuked, jerking his arm from Syranns firm grip, but she wouldnt release him. He snarled at her.
Why dont you shut up? she inquired bitterly, grasping his arm tightly. Soon, Jin felt his veins prickle under the pressure. He tensed, and attempted to prevent her, but couldnt.
I will, just release me he replied meekly, and she did. Jin inspected his arm expecting it to be crippled; it was only bruised.
Again, he thought, about her. Stupid blood-sucking chick. Syrann felt compelled to rip Jins neck off until she heard a familiar voice.
Syrann is that you? asked a young male. Syrann paused, she knew that man in suede pants with a plain white t-shirt, but didnt want to say anything. He was from her past life, the one where she wasnt a vampire.
She didnt want him to know, and Jin sensed that as well for once. Jin gripped Syranns waist firmly and tightly that Syrann felt like punching him. He wanted to break her ribs.
No this chick isnt Syrann, sorry dude Jin replied, before increasing his grip on Syrann. Syrann was about to snarl, if she didnt bite her lip inside.
Im sorry Syrann retorted, suppressing her inner emotions. She really wanted to speak to her friend Jim, but couldnt bear to see him suffer in her lifestyle. Hopefully, youll find her though.
Thanks Jim replied cheerfully, before he walked away with a frown. Jin began to move forward, but noticed that Syrann wasnt moving.
Jim was already a block a way; Syrann didnt budge at all. Jin was about to argue with Syrann until he noticed the blood-stained tears that came from her eyes.

It's hard to say what it is I see in you, wonder if I'll always be with you, words can't say, I can't do, enough to prove, it's all for you
